Use this page to understand account and data deletion.
1. How to Request Deletion
Request deletion inside the TheraTale app where available, or email support@theratale.app from the account email. We may verify that the request comes from the account holder or authorized parent/guardian.
2. What May Be Deleted
Deletion may include account information, saved stories, child profile inputs, story library items, generated content associated with the account, preferences, and support identifiers linked to the account.
3. What May Be Retained
Some records may be retained where required or permitted by law, including payment records maintained by app stores, fraud/security logs, tax/legal records, dispute records, backup copies for a limited period, and records needed to protect rights or safety.
4. Timing and Safety
We aim to process verified deletion requests within the time required by applicable law. Deletion from backups or third-party systems may take additional time. Do not send unnecessary child photos, addresses, school names, medical details, or other sensitive information in deletion requests.
